In this role, you will support early childhood development by implementing educational activities, ensuring safety, and fostering positive social interactions. Your energy and compassion will help children thrive during their formative years, making a meaningful difference in their lives every day. Duties Supervise and engage with children in a caring, attentive manner to promote their emotional and social well-being Facilitate age-appropriate activities that support childhood development milestones Maintain a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other daily routines for toddlers, and preschoolers Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to communicate with parents and team members effectively Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement Skills Proven experience in a childcare setting, or working with young children Knowledge of early childhood education and childhood development stages Classroom management techniques to support a positive learning environment Strong understanding of working with children First aid/aed/cpr certification and knowledge of emergency response procedures Experience with toddler care, and preschool activities Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents and colleagues Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities such as feeding, diapering, and supervising playtime Obtain the four required PA clearances needed to work in a childcare facility We are dedicated to providing a supportive environment that values your skills in caregiving, teaching, and fostering early childhood development.
