Job Description

Are you a retired Teacher or someone looking for 10-15 early morning hours a week? ! Job Overview We are seeking a loving and warm individual to join our team as a classroom opener in our Pre-K1 room. As an Opener, you will play an important role in setting a positive tone for the day and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children. You will be working a 6:30/7am-10:00am shift. Duties
  • Open the facility each morning and prepare the space for daily activities
  • Greet children and parents warmly as they arrive
  • Assist with morning routines such as breakfast and transitioning children to their respective areas
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities to kick start their day
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for all children
  • Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate schedules and activities Requirements
  • Experience working with children, including infant care
  • Knowledge of first aid procedures
  • Background in childcare, childhood development, or caregiving
  • Familiarity with special education practices is a plus
  • Previous experience in babysitting, nannying, or daycare settings
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
