Job Description

We are looking for a Child Care Provider to have the flexibility to care for children of all ages. Responsibilities Provide basic care and caregiving activities Ability to muliti-task and learn quickly Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, hands on activities, etc) to enhance the child's abilities Remain in constant communication with parents and update them on the progress of their children Observe children's interactions Identify behavioral problems and determine the right course of action Collaborate with other colleagues Adhere with teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state regulations Skills Proven experience as a child care / daycare teacher Excellent knowledge of child development and up-to-date education methods Patience, flexibility and love for children Strong communication and time management skills Quick learner & ability to take initiative Certificate in first aid and CPR will need to be obtained if hired MUST be able to handle daily stressors of supervising
MULTIPLE
children at one time. Degree in early childhood education preferred but not required
