A Preschool or Childcare Teacher works with young children, usually ages 3 - 5, to help them learn the social, motor and language skills needed to be ready for kindergarten and elementary school. Organizes activities and uses play or games to help children learn; develops schedules and routines for children that include exercise and rest. Works in a school or in a childcare center or program.

Job Description
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Provide guidance and support to children in their social, emotional, and educational development
- Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Assess and monitor the progress of each child, providing individualized support as needed
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to engage children in learning activities
- Plan and organize field trips and special events for the preschool program
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Familiarity with behavior management techniques and strategies
- Experience in curriculum development, including math concepts for preschoolers
- Understanding of special education needs and the ability to adapt instruction accordingly We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
