Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate educational activities focused on childhood development and early learning principles Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any concerns promptly Assist with diapering, feeding, nap times, and other routine childcare tasks in accordance with best practices Manage behavior using positive reinforcement strategies and classroom management techniques to foster respectful interactions Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education standards Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a plus Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or related safety training required or obtainable upon hire Classroom management skills with a focus on behavior management strategies for young children Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and procedures for child safety incidents Previous nannying or babysitting experience involving infants, toddlers, or preschoolers is advantageous

Pay:

$15.50 - $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
