Responsibilities:

• Supervise class aides
• Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns
• Manage classroom behavior and promote positive discipline techniques
• Ensure the well-being and safety of all children in the classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom

Qualifications:

• Must be familiar with state regulations and PA Key standards
• Must be able to administer assessments on time at a star 4 standard
• Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques for young children
• Understanding of child welfare guidelines and regulations
• Familiarity with toddler care and early childhood education principles
• Proficiency in math concepts appropriate for preschoolers
• Experience working in a daycare or similar educational setting is required
