Ducklings Early Learning Center is currently looking for a creative and caring Toddler Teacher to join our team. RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage and participate in the smooth running of a loving classroom at a highly regarded educational childcare center. Create and deliver lesson plans, care for each child individually, and assess developmental needs of students. Maintain a healthy and safe environment. Help to implement a program suitable for children using our curriculum as a framework Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, colors, do crafts etc.) Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times Communicate with parents regularly through Brightwheel and in person to understand the children's background and psyche Collaborate with other educators Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

CDA, Two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required. At least 2 years experience as an Early Childhood Education Teacher in a licensed preschool or early development center required. Experience using Teaching Strategies Gold and Brightwheel a plus. Able to furnish required clearances. Exhibits strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sense of humor encouraged!

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
