Job Description

Neshaminy Montessori is seeking a warm, dedicated, and experienced Montessori Primary Directress to join our school community. We are looking for an educator who understands that the Montessori classroom is more than a curriculum—it is a carefully prepared environment where children develop independence, confidence, curiosity, and a genuine love of learning. Responsibilities Lead a Montessori Primary classroom serving children ages 3-6 Prepare and maintain an engaging, organized Montessori environment Present Montessori lessons and materials individually and in small groups Observe children and support their academic, social, and emotional development Encourage independence, responsibility, grace and courtesy, and care of the environment Maintain student records and communicate thoughtfully with families Collaborate with classroom assistants, administration, and enrichment teachers Participate in school events, professional development, and our larger school community Qualifications Montessori Primary/Early Childhood credential required Bachelor's degree or teaching degree preferred Previous Montessori classroom experience strongly preferred Strong classroom management and communication skills A nurturing, professional, dependable approach to working with young children Commitment to Montessori philosophy and child-centered education About Neshaminy Montessori Neshaminy Montessori is a close-knit school community serving children from infancy through Lower Elementary. In addition to the Montessori curriculum, our children enjoy a rich variety of experiences including violin, Mandarin, chess, ceramics, art, library, and fitness. We are looking for someone who wants to become an important part of our school community and help children grow into confident, capable, independent learners.

Pay:
$45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
