What You'll Do As a Lead Preschool Teacher , you'll own your classroom — planning and delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for children ages 3-5. Day-to-day, that includes: Designing and implementing play-based lesson plans aligned with early childhood best practices Supporting children's social-emotional development, language skills, and school readiness Tracking developmental milestones and conducting ongoing child assessments Communicating regularly with families to celebrate progress and address needs Supervising and mentoring an assistant teacher in your classroom Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and organized classroom environment Following Pennsylvania licensing and Keystone STARS quality standards
