Job Description

Overview Join our vibrant childcare team as a Daycare Assistant and become a vital part of creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for young children. In this role, you will support early childhood development by assisting lead teachers in implementing educational activities, ensuring children's safety, and fostering positive social interactions. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help lay the foundation for children's growth and learning during their formative years. Duties Assist in supervising children during playtime, meals, naps, and educational activities to promote safety and well-being Support classroom management by organizing activities that stimulate learning and development in preschool, toddler, and infant care settings Help implement age-appropriate curricula focused on childhood development, social skills, and early education principles Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including first aid procedures when necessary Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a cohesive caregiving experience. Assist with diapering, feeding, and other caregiving tasks while demonstrating patience and compassion Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification in first aid and CPR required or willingness to obtain upon hire Strong classroom experience with toddlers or infants is desirable Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children and collaborate with team members Ability to manage behavior positively through effective behavior management techniques Passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their growth through caregiving and teaching roles Join us in making a meaningful impact on children's lives!
