Job Description

River Therapies is a private therapy company located in the Fox Chapel community of Pennsylvania. We specialize in outpatient, early intervention, and school-based therapy services. Our mission is to serve God, by helping children surpass what others said they would never achieve. We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team! The position would include maintaining an outpatient caseload as well as providing services in early intervention and/or a school based setting. As a member of the therapy department, you will work with other therapeutic staff and report to our administration staff.
What You Will Do:
Provide daily physical therapy sessions to patients identified as requiring services Complete daily documentation Complete progress reports and all required paperwork for each setting Participate in and contribute to family and administrative meetings Maintain required communication with families for the betterment of each patient Regular meetings with administration staff to discuss caseloads, answer questions, and promote overall employment success Maintain a weekly schedule for efficient scheduling and time management abilities Promote a safe and welcoming therapeutic environment for patients and families
What You Will Bring:
Our ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of relevant experience (but new grads are welcome to apply!) and the following credentials/skills: Degree in Physical Therapy and an associated license in the state of Pennsylvania excellent communication skills professional and positive work ethic passion for the field of pediatric physical therapy Experience in problem-based learning is encouraged New graduates are welcome to apply! We have a wonderful and strong mentorship program!
