Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Provider to create a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment for children of various ages. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting children's developmental needs through attentive caregiving, educational activities, and positive behavior management. Duties Provide attentive care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs or disabilities Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote childhood development, early learning skills, and social interaction Ensure the safety of all children by adhering to health and safety protocols, including first aid and CPR procedures Support behavioral management strategies to encourage positive behavior and emotional regulation Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, routines, and any concerns Follow mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and outdoor play Experience Proven experience working with children in settings such as daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying, or youth programs Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Experience caring for infants and toddlers with specialized needs or disabilities is highly valued Familiarity with behavior management techniques suitable for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in mandated reporting laws and childhood education is preferred Prior classroom experience or daycare experience that highlights your ability to create engaging learning environments Experience working with children in diverse settings enhances your ability to adapt to individual needs effectively Join us in shaping bright futures!
