Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Teacher/Pre-K Teacher to inspire and nurture young learners in a vibrant educational environment. In this role, you will create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote early childhood growth, literacy, social skills, and physical development. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that align with early childhood education standards and promote holistic child development. Facilitate engaging lessons focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool and toddler age groups. Manage classroom activities to ensure a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment conducive to learning and play. Apply effective classroom management techniques to encourage positive behavior and support individual needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and daily updates. Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, lesson plans, and mandated reporting documentation in compliance with legal requirements. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by maintaining first aid and CPR certifications and adhering to child welfare standards. Experience Associates degree in ECE DEGREE, child development , special Ed or Bachelor in any related areas Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential; classroom experience is highly valued. Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and classroom management strategies. Experience developing curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math instruction, physical activity, and behavioral management techniques. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures for young children. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
