Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in a childcare center or working with children and be familiar with State & STARS requirements. Additionally, you should be comfortable working both alone in a classroom with children AND alongside a cooperating teacher. This position would be for the 2026-2027 school year (starting August 24th) however onboarding, training, and shadowing would begin mid-July. Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning and growth
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a structured learning environment
  • Follow state & STARS requirements
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers / co-workers Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Strong communication skills to interact with students, parents, and staff effectively
  • Ability to provide childcare care with patience and understanding
  • Be a team player!
