Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lead Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers, fostering their developmental growth through structured activities and individualized attention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to supporting young children's learning experiences using the Creative Curriculum approach. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the Creative Curriculum to promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development of toddlers. Supervise and guide assistant teachers and support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective classroom environment. Foster positive relationships with children and their families, maintaining open communication about each child's progress and needs. Create a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and assess children's developmental milestones, documenting progress and adjusting activities accordingly. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Lead classroom activities that promote social skills, independence, and curiosity among toddlers. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Qualifications At least a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or related field. Prior experience working with toddlers in an educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of the Creative Curriculum or similar developmentally appropriate curricula. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and families. Ability to create a warm, welcoming, and structured classroom environment. Demonstrated leadership skills to guide assistant teachers and support staff effectively. Commitment to fostering an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment for young children. Pay:
$13.25 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
