Full-Time Job Summary The Lead Pre-K Teacher is responsible for providing a safe, caring, and engaging classroom for Pre-K children. The Lead Teacher will plan developmentally appropriate activities, supervise children, maintain the classroom, communicate with families, and provide leadership to other staff working in the classroom. Responsibilities Provide a safe, positive, and welcoming classroom environment. Supervise children at all times and maintain accurate child counts. Create and follow weekly lesson plans using FrogStreet Curriculum Provide age-appropriate, hands-on and play-based learning activities. Prepare children for kindergarten through academic, social, emotional, and independence skills. Set up and maintain classroom learning centers. Observe children's development and complete required assessments and documentation. Follow the daily classroom schedule and maintain consistent routines. Use positive guidance and appropriate behavior-management strategies. Communicate professionally with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns. Lead and work cooperatively with assistant teachers and other classroom staff. Make sure classroom staff understand and follow daily routines and responsibilities. Keep the classroom clean, organized, and properly stocked. Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and licensing requirements. Complete required paperwork accurately and on time. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and professional development. Maintain required certifications and clearances. Follow all center policies and procedures. Communicate classroom, child, parent, or staffing concerns to the Director. Assist with other duties as needed.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
