Sign-On Bonus:
$1,500 paid after the first month of employment, with the remainder $1,000 paid at the end of the 12 month provisional. We are looking for a caring individual who has a passion for helping children learn and grow and making a difference in the lives of children and families everyday.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required education: Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, or an associates degree in a related field (child development, special education, elementary education or human services) with 30 early childhood education credits. Must have experience working in an early childhood setting.
Preferred education:
Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a bachelor's degree in a related field (child development, special education, elementary education or human services) with 30 early childhood education credits; 2 or more years' experience in an ECE program, supervisory experience, ECE certification. Must have an interest in child development, a flexible personality, the ability to work independently, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus enjoy variety in daily work routines. Successful candidates will also have proven leadership abilities, creativity in teaching, team management and supervision, as well as the ability to work as part of a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the delivery of a quality early childhood education program in compliance with all applicable regulations. With the support of a qualified team and using research-based curriculum, oversee the operation and activities of supervised groups and classroom planning. Ensure developmentally-appropriate comprehensive program and classroom plans that meet children's group and individual needs, and follow the SUMMIT Early Learning curriculum and philosophy.
HOURS & SALARY
Full-time (40 hours/week, 260 days/year, 8 hours/day), Monday•Friday, $18.11•19.83 per hour depending upon qualifications.
