Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports early childhood education standards, including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills Create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and developmental needs of preschool-aged children Foster a positive classroom environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies Support child development through individualized instruction, early intervention techniques, and special education accommodations when necessary Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress, address concerns, and promote collaborative support for each child's growth Ensure safety protocols are followed by maintaining a clean, organized classroom and adhering to mandated reporting laws for child welfare concerns Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and learning outcomes Requirements Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting is essential, with a strong background in early childhood education Knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and classroom management techniques Certification in first aid and CPR is required to ensure child safety at all times Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, and behavior management methods Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork with colleagues Ability to plan lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activities, and social-emotional learning Experience with classroom experience including toddler care, preschool teaching, and working within private or public school environments is preferred Join us in creating a joyful learning space where young children can thrive!
