Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Assistant Group Supervisor to join our early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will support the lead supervisor in managing classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for young children. Responsibilities Assist in supervising daily classroom activities, ensuring they align with developmental best practices and curriculum standards Support child supervision, ensuring safety and engagement during play, learning, and rest periods Implement child development instruction tailored to individual needs, including preschool and toddler care strategies Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Support classroom management by applying behavior management techniques and promoting positive interactions among children Assist with first aid procedures, including pediatric first aid and CPR when necessary, following mandated reporting laws and safety protocols Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar early childhood settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Classroom experience involving child supervision, behavior management, and activity planning Familiarity with daycare experience, nannying, babysitting, or working with young children in various settings Understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children in a professional manner Join us in creating a joyful, safe, and enriching environment where children can thrive!
