Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
• Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians
• Ensure the well-being and safety of all children at all times
• Follow established routines and schedules
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding
• Change diapers and assist with toilet training as needed
• Monitor and address any behavioral issues or concerns
• Work closely with our partners creating a healthy and successful relationship for the students and overall business.

Skills:

• 2 years of childcare experience, CDA, associates degree in ECE or a related field or higher is preferred
• Experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers and preschoolers
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques
• Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• First aid certification/CPR is a plus
• Classroom management skills are beneficial
