Engage with children through hands-on activities, fostering their social skills, creativity, and love of learning while working with diverse learners including those requiring special education or early intervention services. Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate progress, developmental milestones, and strategies for supporting children's growth at home. Manage classroom routines efficiently to ensure smooth transitions and optimal learning experiences for toddlers and preschoolers. Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods when appropriate to monitor developmental progress and tailor instruction accordingly. Maintain accurate records of each child's development, behavior management plans, and lesson plans aligned with childhood development standards. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings; familiarity with toddler care is highly valued. Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles, childhood development theories, and classroom management techniques. Experience with curriculum development across multiple domains such as literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of children requiring special education or early intervention services. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and administrators. Demonstrated classroom experience in managing diverse groups of young learners while fostering a positive learning environment. Knowledge of childcare regulations, child welfare practices, and standards for preschool education.
