Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with students who have developmental disabilities. This role requires an individual who can effectively educate, communicate, and implement strategies that support the diverse needs of our students. The Preschool Teacher will play a crucial role in fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes growth and development. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of students, focusing on early intervention strategies. Educate students using various teaching methods, including behavioral therapy techniques and literacy education approaches. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a collaborative approach to education. Provide support for students with developmental disabilities, utilizing appropriate resources and strategies to enhance their learning experience. Oversee classroom activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all students. Collaborate with other educators and specialists in the areas of deaf education and preschool programs to enhance curriculum offerings. Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods as needed to meet individual learning goals. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable. Background in early childhood education or related fields is essential. Familiarity with early intervention practices and behavioral therapy techniques is preferred. Experience in literacy education, especially for preschool-aged children, is a plus. Strong communication skills are necessary for effective interaction with students, families, and colleagues. A commitment to fostering an inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learners is essential.
