This is a part-time position working Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-6:00 PM . The Closing Floater will support our classrooms during the afternoon and help ensure our school is ready for a smooth and successful close each day. Position Responsibilities Provide support in classrooms as needed during the afternoon Assist teachers with daily classroom routines, activities, and transitions Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children Support classrooms during staff breaks, end-of-day transitions, and closing routines Assist with cleaning and organizing classrooms at the end of the day Help ensure children are supervised and cared for according to school policies Work with teachers and administration to meet the needs of the school each afternoon Be flexible and comfortable working with children of different age groups Qualifications Previous experience working with children preferred Reliable and punctual Positive, energetic, and team-oriented Comfortable working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children Able to follow directions and classroom procedures Strong communication and teamwork skills Must meet all applicable state childcare employment requirements Schedule Monday-Friday 3:00 PM-6:00 PM Part-Time Why Join The Discovery Preschools?
