Lead Pre-K Teacher Ducklings Early Learning Center
  • Oxford, PA Ducklings Early Learning Center in Oxford is currently hiring an experienced and enthusiastic Lead Pre-K Teacher to join our team!
We are looking for an educator who is ready to take ownership of a Pre-K classroom and create a positive, engaging learning environment where children can build confidence, independence, and the skills they need for kindergarten and beyond. At Ducklings, we foster a warm, supportive, and team-oriented environment. Our leadership team is hands-on and committed to making sure our teachers feel valued, heard, and set up for success. What You'll Do Lead the daily operations of a nurturing and engaging Pre-K classroom Take ownership of classroom management, planning, organization, and routines Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and hands-on learning experiences Help prepare children academically, socially, and emotionally for kindergarten Support each child's individual developmental and learning needs Encourage independence, confidence, problem-solving, and positive peer interactions Use a variety of teaching methods, including play, storytelling, small-group instruction, learning centers, and hands-on activities Maintain a safe, organized, welcoming, and positive classroom environment Build strong relationships with children, families, coworkers, and leadership Communicate regularly with families through Brightwheel and in person Partner with leadership to ensure strong curriculum implementation and classroom consistency What We're Looking For CDA, Associate's, or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred Previous experience working in early childhood education Pre-K or preschool classroom experience strongly preferred Experience leading or independently managing a classroom is a plus Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills A positive attitude, flexibility, and team-player mindset Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania state clearances A genuine love for helping young children learn and grow Sense of humor encouraged — we believe teaching should be joyful! Schedule Monday
  • Friday Full-time Shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM
