Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to inspire and nurture our youngest learners during their critical early childhood years. Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans focused on toddler care, literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Lead daily classroom activities that promote curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Monitor and support individual child development needs through tailored instruction in areas such as early intervention, childhood development, and special education. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards, including first aid and CPR procedures. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong partnerships. Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws and school policies related to child welfare and safety. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements that incorporate standardized testing insights and best practices in preschool teaching. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting, particularly with toddlers or preschoolers. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curriculum content across multiple domains including literacy, math, physical education, and social skills. Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional credentials in early childhood education or special education are highly preferred. Excellent communication skills for effective parent communication and teamwork within an educational environment. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Prior experience with classroom experience in private schools or daycare centers is advantageous.
