Role:

Bright Minds Bright Beginnings LLC is looking for a passionate and nurturing Toddler Teacher to join our growing team in Philadelphia, PA! Responsibilities:

Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based curriculum for toddler-aged children Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that supports early childhood development Monitor and document children's developmental milestones and progress Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child development Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom in compliance with licensing and health standards Support social-emotional learning and positive behavior guidance techniques Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive, supportive learning community

Requirements:

CDA preferred Previous experience working with toddlers (ages 1-2) in a licensed childcare or preschool setting Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and early childhood learning standards Current or ability to obtain required PA childcare clearances (FBI, State Police, Child Abuse History) CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Warm, patient, and energetic demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children Strong communication and teamwork skills
