Our educators create meaningful learning experiences that support children academically, socially, and emotionally. We are currently seeking a passionate and qualified Lead Teacher for our Pre-K Counts classroom. Position Summary The Lead Teacher will plan and implement developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts standards and curriculum requirements. The ideal candidate is organized, nurturing, collaborative, and dedicated to helping young learners thrive. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and classroom activities Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment Monitor and assess student progress Maintain classroom management and daily routines Communicate effectively with families and staff Ensure compliance with licensing and Pre-K Counts regulations Support children's social-emotional development Participate in professional development and team meetings Qualifications To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following qualifications: Education Requirements A Bachelor's degree (minimum) in one of the following: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Child Development Special Education (with early childhood focus) OR A Bachelor's degree in another field
PLUS:
At least 30 credit hours in Early Childhood Education Certification Requirements Must hold or be eligible for: Pennsylvania Teaching Certification in PreK-4 Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a preschool or Pre-K classroom Knowledge of Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards Strong classroom management and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with families and staff CPR/First Aid Certification preferred Benefits Supportive team environment Professional development opportunities Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Opportunity to make a lasting impact in children's lives Apply Today!
