Preschool Teacher, Full-time Benefits:

Requirements:
- Candidates with Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development or related degrees are preferred.
- Candidates without designated degrees should have a CDA credential or equivalent (12 credits in Early Childhood Education or a related field) and three years' experience.
- Act 33/34, FBI and NSOR clearances and physical/TB test
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to use Microsoft Word, Outlook and the
Internet Responsibilities:
- Ensure the smooth daily operation of the classroom in alignment with Carriage House Children's Center (CHCC) policies and procedures; support a positive team environment through clear communication, modeling best practices, and upholding high standards of care and professionalism
- Follow best practices for keeping children healthy and safe in Center-based care, following all licensing and regulatory policies and procedures related to PA Department of Human Services (DHS), Keystone STARS and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
- Supervise children at all times including naptime, mealtime, and toileting times
- Use positive, sensitive and consistent encouragement with children
- Collaborate with co-teachers to develop classroom lesson plans which provide children with a variety of developmentally appropriate and engaging experiences that are responsive to children's needs
- Apply strong and appropriate classroom management skills
- Engage in professional growth activities to improve professional and personal skills
