Summary As a Preschool Teacher at LifeSpan School & Daycare, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experiences of young children. Located in a supportive environment, this position is essential for implementing our creative curriculum and ensuring that each child receives the individualized attention needed for their growth and development. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive interactions among children. Foster social-emotional development through constructive play and meaningful relationships. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents on their development. Collaborate with families to build strong teacher-family partnerships that support learning. Maintain classroom management strategies that promote respect and cooperation among students. Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education. Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and health standards. Qualifications CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting. Strong knowledge of child development principles and early learning standards. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification is required. Experience with special education practices is a plus but not required.
