Description Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Assistant Director in our dynamic daycare center! In this vital leadership role, you will support the Director in managing daily operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children from infancy through preschool age. Your energetic approach will help foster a positive atmosphere where children thrive, staff are motivated, and families feel confident and engaged. Responsibilities Assist the Director in overseeing daily classroom activities, ensuring adherence to curriculum standards focused on childhood development and early learning principles.
Support staff with classroom management, behavior guidance, and implementing age-appropriate teaching strategies for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Ensure compliance with all mandated reporting laws, health and safety regulations—including first aid, CPR, and pediatric first aid—and maintain a secure environment for children and staff.
Facilitate effective communication with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns, fostering strong relationships built on trust and transparency.
Ensure equipment and the facility are clean well maintained, and safe at all times. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers or early childhood education settings is essential.
