Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Assistant Childcare Director to join our team. In this vital role, you will support the overall management of our childcare programs, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children. You will collaborate with staff to implement educational activities, uphold licensing standards, and promote a positive experience for children and families alike. Duties Assist in supervising daily operations of the childcare center, before and after care program, and summer camp, ensuring compliance with all safety and licensing regulations Support staff in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities and enrichment programs Help monitor classroom environments to promote positive behavior and developmental growth Collaborate with families to address concerns, provide updates on children's progress, and foster strong relationships Participate in staff training sessions to maintain high-quality care standards Assist with administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance tracking, and program documentation Ensure health and safety protocols are consistently followed throughout the center Requirements Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Services, Business, Social Services, or related field preferred Ability to be listed on a PA DHS childcare license (required) Supervisory experience in childcare or youth development preferred Knowledge of PA DHS regulations, Keystone STARS, and best practices in early education Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and staff Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Passion for fostering positive developmental experiences for young children Join us to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while advancing your career in early childhood education!

Pay:

$16.50 - $18.50 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
