Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part-time Older Toddler Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in the age group of 24 to 48 months. Your focus will be assisting in the fostering of developmental growth, supporting social-emotional skills, and ensuring a safe, engaging space where young learners can explore and thrive. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young children's lives. The hours for this position are either M-F 8a-10a or M-F 3p-6p. This is a 12 month position. No summer or winter break only applicants please. Duties Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including motor skills, language, and socialization. Provide attentive toddler care by supervising children during play, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times. Support children with behavioral management techniques that encourage positive interactions and emotional regulation. Communicate with parents upon drop off. Collaborate with team members to create a cohesive learning experience and share best practices in classroom management. Assist with classroom setup and organization of teaching materials. Requirements Prior experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children in daycare, childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Ability to work part-time hours reliably while maintaining flexibility for additional scheduling needs.
