Job Overview Sign on bonus available for the right candidate! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant and/or Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment for our youngest learners, fostering their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. Your enthusiasm for early childhood education will inspire curiosity and a love of learning in infants and toddlers. You will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities, maintaining classroom routines, and collaborating with families to support each child's unique needs. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational years of a child's growth. Responsibilities Implement engaging curriculum plans tailored to infants and toddlers that promote early literacy, math skills, motor development, and social-emotional growth. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and positive interactions among children. Manage daily routines including diapering, feeding, nap times, and transitions with patience and consistency. Use effective behavior management techniques to foster positive behavior and resolve conflicts in a supportive manner. Collaborate with families through regular communication about each child's progress, needs, and milestones. Incorporate principles of childhood development and special education strategies to support diverse learning needs. Maintain accurate documentation of developmental progress, health records, and classroom activities in compliance with licensing standards. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times to uphold child welfare and create a secure environment for all children. Qualifications Prior classroom experience working with infants and toddlers in licensed childcare or preschool settings, a plus. Knowledge of early childhood education best practices including curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Ability to manage classroom routines efficiently while fostering an engaging learning atmosphere. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour
