Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong commitment to early childhood education. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and promote literacy education. Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration. Monitor and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, developmental needs and classroom activities. Maintain a healthy and safe environment. Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well being of the center. Encourage positive social interactions among children. Maintain a clean, organized classroom that reflects the values of respect and responsibility. Qualifications CDA, Associates or Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred. Experience working with children in a toddler or early childhood setting is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate various learning styles while promoting literacy education. Must have all current clearances FBI, Child Abuse, NSOR and PA State Police.
