Part Time/Fulltime summer camp teacher

Dare 2 Dream Daycare is looking for quality and reliable candidates for a part time or fulltime lead school age teacher in summer. The hours can be discussed- mornings are required-but would be Monday-Friday only, (weekends off!) Hours can be more or less for the right candidate. •The LCTA bus stop is outside of our door for those who require transportation!! We are looking for someone who has a teaching philosophy that is kind in nature, but direct. Reliability is key and good supervision, maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment is a must. You must have at least 2 full years of verifiable experience with children or a degree in a human service field, (babysitting does count as well). We are looking to bring someone on board to help support our growing school and to meet the demand of our waiting list. Please submit clearances, including the new NSOR, state police, FBI fingerprints, and child abuse and any CPR certification, in addition to your resume and 3 letters of reference. Responsibilities include:

supervision of children, cleaning, mopping, sweeping, bending and stooping down, sitting on the floor with children, standing for much of the day, lifting up to 75 pounds for brief periods, curriculum implementation and assisting with adding activities to enhance our curriculum. As an ECE student, we will help you complete your practicum coursework with us and gain some valuable experience and feedback from our qualified and experienced staff!
