Position Purpose The Assistant Director is responsible for assisting the Director with the overall operation of the Center, including meeting the needs of families and supporting program operations, curriculum implementation, enrollment, staff recruitment and hiring, office administration, and staff supervision. This role is also responsible for developing and/or coordinating professional development opportunities and ensuring compliance with New Hampshire Child Care Licensing requirements. Description Required Qualifications Education and Yrs Exp Masters plus 6 or more years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications Skills, Knowledge and Abilities Masters degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
Minimum of five years of teaching young children in a professional setting.
Minimum of five years of supervisory or management experience. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good understanding of office systems, including records maintenance and staff scheduling
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong computer skills
Ability to supervise others
