Job Description :
We are seeking an Oral Health Educator to promote oral health awareness and preventive care across skilled nursing facilities, schools, early learning centers, and community settings.
Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver oral health education, training, and workshops for CNAs, school nurses, educators, families, and community partners. Create educational materials and resources on oral hygiene and preventive care. Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, SNFs, and community organizations. Support outreach events, health fairs, and public health initiatives. Assist with program planning, data collection, reporting, evaluation, and grant-related activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or certification in Dental Hygiene, Public Health, Education, or a related field. Experience in health education, training, public health, healthcare, schools, long-term care, or community programs. Knowledge of oral hygiene, preventive dental care, and common dental conditions. Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with program evaluation, data management, or grant writing is preferred.
