In this role, you will support classroom activities, assist with daily routines, and ensure a safe, engaging space for children to explore, learn, and grow. Your positive energy and attention to detail will contribute to the development of foundational skills in preschoolers, infants, and toddlers. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years while working flexible hours that fit your schedule. Duties Support lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development and learning Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and outdoor play Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols Engage children in play-based learning activities that foster social skills, creativity, and curiosity Observe and document children's progress to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents as needed Support behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among children Help organize classroom materials and ensure all supplies are ready for daily activities Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices Certification or training in first aid and CPR is highly desirable Strong classroom management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Compassionate caregiving attitude with excellent communication skills Ability to work well as part of a team in a dynamic environment Ability to create and post engaging social media content to promote the daycare, increase visibility, and attract new families.
