In this position, you'll collaborate with fellow teachers, the Educational Coordinator, and other staff members to observe, understand, and build on children's development using an emergent, Reggio Emilia-inspired approach. This is a full-time, year-round role. Comprehensive benefits are available after a 90-day introductory period. Working with Children Foster strong, respectful connections through play, exploration, and inquiry Lead small group activities and facilitate group discussions both indoors and outside Encourage social and emotional development using supportive discipline and conflict-resolution techniques Creating a Supportive Learning Space Set up engaging indoor and outdoor environments that include natural elements and open-ended materials Keep materials organized, safe, and conducive to creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving Collaborating with Families Build and maintain positive, ongoing communication with families Provide weekly updates and insights through the ProCare app Take part in family conferences and events, including biannual meetings Highlight children's learning experiences and encourage family participation Qualifications We Value Strong skills in observation and reflective thinking A cooperative approach and enthusiasm for working within a teaching team Respectful, child-focused communication Dedication to inclusive and engaging educational environments Genuine interest in early childhood education and emergent curriculum practices Position Details Full-time role Benefits Include 401(k) plan Health, dental, and life insurance Employee discounts Paid time off Preferred Experience At least one year in an early childhood classroom At least one year working in a preschool setting Requirements High school diploma or GED Work Setting On-site position
