Preschool Lead Teacher

Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this vital role, you will lead classroom activities, foster a nurturing environment, and support the children's developmental needs. Duties Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to childrens needs, incorporating elements of literacy education, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and independence. Monitor and document each child's progress through observations, assessments, and standardized testing when appropriate, ensuring individualized attention. Manage classroom routines with patience and professionalism. Collaborate with families to share insights on child welfare, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones. Incorporate early intervention techniques and special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs. Maintain compliance with safety regulations, health standards, and licensing requirements while fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare settings; classroom management skills are essential. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention practices, and Montessori or other educational philosophies is preferred. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, and team members. Experience with lesson planning. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating leadership qualities as a Lead Teacher. Certification in CPR/First Aid is highly desirable; relevant coursework in early childhood education or special education is a plus.

The importance of using their imagination to learn about the word in their own lens and not their peers or staff. Developing self-confidence, self-awareness, respect for them self and their classmates. Normal work hours are 8-4:30pm. Hours of operations are 7am-5:30pm. We will schedule you 8 hours per day, but need someone with flexibility within our hours of operationPay:
