Our Early Foundations program serves infants beginning at 6 weeks of age. We are looking for an educator with strong infant experience who understands early development and can confidently lead a warm, organized, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom. Responsibilities Lead the daily operation of the infant classroom Provide attentive, responsive care while supporting each infant's individual developmental needs Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning, sensory, and early STEAM experiences Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment Follow individual feeding, bottle, diapering, sleep, and care schedules Maintain accurate daily documentation and classroom records Build positive and professional relationships with families Collaborate with classroom assistants, fellow educators, and school leadership Implement Ivy Green Preschool's established curriculum and educational approach Maintain all required health, safety, sanitation, supervision, and licensing practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or a closely related field required Professional infant classroom experience required Strong knowledge of infant development and developmentally appropriate practices Ability to confidently lead and organize an infant classroom Excellent communication and collaboration skills Dependable, professional, warm, and attentive CPR/First Aid certification preferred; required upon employment if not already certified Must meet Rhode Island child care licensing and background check requirements Compensation & Benefits $25.00-$35.00 per hour, based on education and experience Full-time, year-round position Paid time off Paid school holidays Professional development opportunities Supportive school leadership Opportunity to grow with Ivy Green as our programs expand About Ivy Green Ivy Green Preschool serves children from 6 weeks through 5 years old , with plans to expand into Kindergarten through Grade 2.
