Warren, RI 02885 Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team in Warren, Rhode Island. The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and a strong understanding of child development principles specific to this age group. This role requires a nurturing individual who can create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for toddlers to explore and grow. Responsibilities Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development for toddlers. Provide a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Observe and document each child's progress and communicate regularly with parents and guardians. Maintain compliance with Rhode Island state regulations and licensing requirements for toddler care and education. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and effective early childhood program. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities as required. Qualifications Experience as a toddler teacher or in a similar early childhood education role, preferably within Rhode Island. Knowledge of Rhode Island toddler teacher regulations and best practices. Strong understanding of toddler developmental milestones and appropriate teaching strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. High school diploma or equivalent required; CDA credential or higher education in Early Childhood Education is a plus.
