Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social skills aligned with early childhood education standards Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence among preschool children Manage daily classroom activities, including lesson planning, circle time, play-based learning, and structured educational exercises Support children with special needs through tailored interventions and collaboration with specialists in early intervention and special education Foster positive behavior management strategies to promote respectful interactions and emotional regulation among students Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, milestones, and any concerns Maintain accurate records of student development, assessments, and standardized testing results to monitor growth and inform instruction Skills Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques Experience in curriculum development tailored for preschoolers with diverse needs Proficiency in classroom management and behavior management strategies Ability to work effectively with children across different developmental stages Excellent communication skills to collaborate with parents, colleagues, and specialists Familiarity with Montessori methods or other educational philosophies such as early literacy education or math instruction for young learners Knowledge of childcare regulations, daycare standards, and child welfare practices Skilled in lesson planning for various subjects including physical education, literacy, math, and social-emotional learning Experience working in daycare settings is preferred Demonstrated ability to create an inclusive environment that supports children's overall well-being and development
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
