Responsibilities Assist in supervising children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions to promote safety and engagement. Support lead teachers with lesson implementation, child development instruction, and behavior management strategies. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, progress, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships. Follow all mandated reporting laws and health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid and CPR procedures. Provide compassionate care for children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or additional support. Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and age groups as needed to ensure continuity of care and instruction. Experience Previous experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar caregiving roles. Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and classroom management techniques. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly valued. Familiarity with child supervision standards, behavior management strategies, and pediatric first aid/CPR certification. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children in a professional manner. Prior classroom experience in early childhood settings or daycare environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
