The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the social, emotional, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning through play, exploration, and interaction. Responsibilities Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment for all children. Monitor and assess children's progress in various developmental areas. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child's growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies. Provide individualized support to children with special needs or disabilities. Maintain accurate records of children's development and communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience within the preschool setting. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols. Qualifications Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is highly desirable. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Experience working with children with disabilities or special education needs is a plus. Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment. First aid certification is preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues. A nurturing attitude and the ability to build trusting relationships with young children. Experience in caregiving roles such as nannying or babysitting is beneficial.
