Overview Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Infant Room Assistant! In this dynamic role, you will be a vital part of nurturing and supporting our youngest learners, ensuring their safety, development, and happiness. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote infant development and curiosity Supervise infants during playtime, feeding, napping, and diapering to ensure their safety and well-being Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment following health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, needs, and daily activities Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and social interactions among infants Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and report any concerns promptly Assist with diaper changes, feeding routines, and comforting infants as needed to foster a caring atmosphere Requirements Prior experience working with infants or in early childhood education settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interactions and team collaboration Ability to follow classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques Commitment to creating a nurturing environment that promotes growth, safety, and happiness for all infants This role is ideal for compassionate individuals passionate about early childhood development who want to contribute positively to children's lives.
