Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Childcare Teacher - Floater to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will serve as a versatile and dependable presence across multiple classrooms, providing high-quality care and instruction to children of various ages. Your energetic approach will foster a nurturing environment where children feel safe, engaged, and inspired to explore their developmental milestones. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support diverse learning needs while building meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff. All positions are paid, recognizing the importance of valuing your dedication and expertise. Responsibilities Provide attentive supervision and care for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and children with special needs. Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and early learning concepts. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment by following health and safety protocols, including first aid and pediatric CPR when necessary. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, daily activities, and any concerns that arise. Collaborate with team members to develop individualized plans for children with disabilities or special educational needs. Adhere to mandated reporting laws by documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare promptly and accurately. Manage classroom routines such as diapering, feeding, nap times, and behavioral guidance using positive behavior management techniques. Support classroom management strategies that foster a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all children. Engage in ongoing professional development related to early childhood education, child development instruction, and caregiving best practices. Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, or similar settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methodologies. Experience working with children with disabilities or special educational needs is a strong plus. Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or related health safety training is required or highly desirable. Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies that promote positive interactions. Background in nannying or babysitting can be valuable for understanding individualized child care needs. Knowledge of mandated reporting laws ensures compliance with legal responsibilities related to child welfare. Pay:
$12.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
