Lead Infant Teacher Alliance Childcare | Mount Pleasant, SC Full-Time | Flexible Scheduling | Growth Opportunities Alliance Childcare is looking for a nurturing, dependable, and experienced Lead Infant Teacher to join our growing team! Alliance is a family-owned and operated childcare center where teachers are known, valued, and supported. Our owner also serves as the center director and is on-site every day , providing hands-on leadership and ensuring our teachers always have someone available to help, listen, and work alongside them. We are looking for someone who genuinely loves working with infants and understands the importance of creating a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment during the earliest years of a child's life. Why You'll Love Working at Alliance Family-owned and operated environment Owner/director on-site and involved each day Supportive, close-knit team Flexible scheduling Plenty of room for professional growth and advancement Opportunities to develop your leadership skills The ability to contribute ideas and help shape a growing childcare program A workplace where your hard work and dedication are noticed and appreciated Responsibilities Provide warm, responsive, and attentive care to infants Create a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support infant development Follow individualized feeding, diapering, and sleeping schedules Maintain accurate daily records and communicate with families Build trusting relationships with children and parents Lead and support assistant teachers in the classroom Follow all Alliance policies and South Carolina childcare licensing requirements Maintain classroom organization, cleanliness, and sanitation Work collaboratively with teachers, administration, and families Qualifications Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting preferred Lead teacher or classroom leadership experience preferred Knowledge of infant development and age-appropriate care practices Reliable, patient, nurturing, and able to communicate professionally Comfortable leading a classroom and working as part of a team CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain Must meet all South Carolina childcare licensing requirements Must be able to complete required background checks and training Our Ideal Candidate Our ideal Lead Infant Teacher is someone who treats every baby with patience, warmth, and genuine care.
