Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and passionate Lead Two-Year-Old Teacher to inspire and guide our youngest learners. In this vital role, you will create engaging lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and support the holistic development of toddlers. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help lay a strong foundation for each child's growth while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum tailored to two-year-olds, incorporating early childhood education principles and literacy activities Manage daily classroom routines, including diapering, potty training support, and transition activities to promote independence Foster positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and emotional regulation among toddlers Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a clear and compassionate manner Maintain a safe classroom environment by adhering to health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR certifications Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and early intervention strategies for children with special needs Document child development progress using standardized testing methods and keep detailed records in compliance with mandated reporting laws Skills Strong knowledge of child development instruction specific to toddlers and preschool-aged children Experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings, including classroom experience with two-year-olds Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and literacy education for early learners Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare Ability to implement classroom management strategies that promote a nurturing learning environment Join us at Brookwood Preschool Academy where your passion for early childhood education can make a meaningful difference!
