We are looking for passionate and dedicated Lead Teachers to join our team and help shape the foundation of lifelong learning for our students.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate VPK curriculum aligned with state standards and the schools Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. Create a structures yet nurturing learning environment that supports social-emotional and academic growth. Utilize hands-on, inquiry-based learning strategies to foster curiosity and problem-solving skills. Assess and document children's progress using observations, portfolios, and VPK assessment tools. Maintain open and professional communication with families regarding student progress and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with Florida VPK program guidelines and school policies. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans following Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. Create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment where children can explore and thrive. Guide and mentor assistant teachers to support student learning and classroom management. Maintain open communication with families regarding student progress, classroom activities, and developmental milestones. Observe and assess children's growth, ensuring curriculum meets individual needs. Uphold school policies and licensing requirements to maintain a high standard of care and education.

Qualifications:

Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education, Elementary Education, or a related field (preferred). Experience in a Montessori, or Reggio Emilia setting is a plus. Passion for early childhood education with strong leadership and classroom management skills. Ability to collaborate with a team and communicate effectively with families.
